Susan C. Stumpf

Susan Joyner-Stumpf is originally from New Orleans and now calls the Colorado Rockies her home with her husband and a menagerie of animal friends. She has been writing since the age of seven. It started off as an escape mechanism for Susan, as she was suffering from Childhood abuse. After a while, it became a passion, and after 50 published books to date as of Jan 1st, 2020, and still going, and appearing in over 16 Anthologies, many Live Radio Interviews, written Interviews appearing on Websites throughout the Globe, Personal YouTube Videos, Poems recited by others and uploaded on YouTube in Video Format, and having won multiple awards, the rest is history.

Besides being a writer of many genres, Susan also enjoys Graphic Art Design. She received her Certification in Graphic Art Design back in 2001. She creates many of the book covers not only for herself, but for all clients as well. She loves to create Graphic Gifts for close friends.

Susan owns a Poetry Forum on Facebook called POTPOURRI POETS/ARTISTS WRITING COMMUNITY and has over a thousand members. She has Administrators to help run the page.

Susan started her own Publishing Company called WILDFIRE PUBLICATIONS, LLC in 2015, having made her best friend, Deborah Brooks Langford, Vice-President and Co-Owner. Together, they both also run a monthly magazine with a fairly large fan base. They have become very successful with a large clientele for both the publishing company and the monthly magazine issues.

With a writing career spanning over 50 years, it’s been a life-long journey of pleasure and pain into that great Unknown. Susan always says she writes to help herself and others heal.
